After I had my stroke two years ago, I underwent the standard physical and occupational outpatient therapy at HealthSouth in Concord with only minimal results. I was very anxious to try the intensive therapy at the Taub Clinic at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. But it is still not covered by insurance even after ten years of spectacular results. We figured with the three-week stay we needed to spend there, we would need $15,000, which we didn't have so we looked into re-financing our mortgage.

She was another special part of White Peak's service since she had spent a year studying in UNH's program in Granada, Spain. She and I and my husband had a wonderful time speaking Spanish (I was a Spanish teacher) and remembering all the wonderful times we spent in Spain. And, thanks to White Peak, our money was there when the Taub Clinic called after Christmas to say they had an unexpected opening in January and we could start right after New Years. Now I can walk much better and get much less tired and I can say I owe that part of my recovery to White Peak.

We were in a financial mess and had gone several routes to try to straighten out our debt and credit problems when we finally came to White Peak Mortgage. Once we connected with Matt, in a short time we were on the road to repair. We refinanced the house at a lower interest rate than we had been paying, and paid off several bills that had been bothering us. After all the finances were figured out, we still had enough money left to do a few things that we wanted to do to our house.
